About Us

We Are Leading International Construction Informative Platform In The World

Construction Frontier is an independent construction intelligence platform that equips engineers, contractors, investors, and industry leaders across Africa and emerging markets with credible, actionable insights.

We analyse civil engineering practice, infrastructure development, equipment innovation, and building materials, translating technical knowledge into content that informs strategic decisions, investment evaluation, and operational excellence.

Our mission is to advance construction knowledge, enable informed collaboration, and highlight the projects, technologies, and solutions shaping the future of the built environment—helping professionals and organisations position themselves effectively in evolving markets.

“Building the Future, One Insight at a Time”

Building Staffs

Construction Frontier places industry professionals at the heart of every story. From engineers and foremen to site technicians and project managers, we champion the workforce that turns blueprints into reality. By delivering timely insights and technical resources, we empower building staff to innovate, adapt, and lead across diverse job sites and project scales.

History Emphasis

We believe progress is rooted in understanding the past. Construction Frontier highlights the lessons learned from historical infrastructure projects—colonial-era railways, early public housing, and landmark civil works—that continue to shape today’s urban and rural development strategies. Our content bridges this historical context with modern challenges to guide better decisions in planning and execution.

Economic Outcomes

Infrastructure is more than concrete and steel—it’s a catalyst for economic transformation. At Construction Frontier, we analyze how well-planned construction projects impact job creation, supply chains, urban growth, and long-term investment returns. Our insights support smarter policy, more resilient development, and shared prosperity across emerging markets.

Our Experts

Dennis Njenga, G.E.

Founder and Civil Engineer

Dennis Njenga is a civil engineer and the founder of Construction Frontier, an independent construction and infrastructure intelligence platform focused on Africa and emerging markets, with selective coverage of global mega projects.

He trained in civil engineering at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) and the Kenya Institute of Highways and Building Technology (KIHBT), with a final-year major in highways and transportation engineering. He also completed advanced studies in Major Engineering Projects Performance at the University of Leeds, UK.

Dennis has hands-on experience across a range of real-world construction and infrastructure projects in Kenya, spanning public road and transportation infrastructure, water and sanitation systems, and public and private sector building works. His exposure includes work on projects delivered under institutions such as the Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA), regional water service providers (NHAHUWASCO/NYANDAWAS), and public works agencies (MOTI), as well as high-end residential and commercial developments.

Alongside project delivery, his practice covers engineering project management, construction evaluation, and infrastructure cost estimation. This practical foundation shapes how he analyses the industry, focusing not just on design intent but on execution, performance, risk, and long-term value.

Construction Frontier was established to bridge the information gap within the construction and civil engineering sector, particularly in Africa and emerging markets. The platform delivers engineering-led, evidence-based insight across construction practice, equipment and machinery, materials, innovation and technology, and infrastructure delivery. Its work examines how engineering decisions translate from paper to site and ultimately into asset performance over time.

Through Construction Frontier, Dennis aims to support engineers, contractors, investors, policymakers, manufacturers, and industry leaders with credible analysis that informs better decisions, strengthens accountability, and contributes to more efficient, resilient, and sustainable development of the built environment.
